Stan Shuman has been traveling and singing southern gospel music since 1970 with such groups as Roger Horne Trio, Jerry & the Singing Goffs, Naomi & the Segos, Danny Funderburke and Mercy's Way, and others. He has also been writing gospel music since 1979. His very first song, "Somebody Touched Heaven for Me" was co-written with songwriter Savannah Foust. Stan has a heart for ministry and believes that if one person comes to know Christ it's worth every mile that you travel. He believes 100% in what and who he sings about, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
He, along with Greg Day are the co-founders of the group "Midnight Cry."
